Parkview Massage + Wellness has been running for almost one full year now, a lot of the time the main question that we get is, “are you a clinic or a spa?”
For a lot of people, they’ve created an idea that spas and massage go hand-in-hand (they do). Though, the big main difference in a clinic and a spa is the overall experience that is offered to the clients.
In a spa it is much more likely that the focus will be on client’s relaxation needs versus their overall general physical needs. The massage therapists are still trained and are required to have a license and liability insurance; though, the massage therapists at a clinic will often have additional education hours, certifications, and professional licenses for insurance billing.
Though, that doesn’t mean we are a clinic either, Parkview runs things a little different than a regular clinic does. Instead of clients having the options of specific massage types, we offer a customized massage. This gives the therapist an opportunity to talk to the client and specify exactly what they want or need out of their experience, and at the end of the appointment (depending on the company) we are able to direct bill to your insurance. Aside from other clinics we also offer Esthetic services, these services include skin rejuvenation, laser hair removal, tinting, waxing and so much more.
We believe that wellness is truly achieved when caring for your body inside and out.
